## Malicious Deployments

A Hook deployment can present tokens as legitimate or safe while using low-quality or malicious tokens controlled by the Hook deployers or related parties. The presence of a PFPHook deployment, whitelisted-token configuration, or MEV-protection mechanism must not be interpreted as an endorsement of the tokens, their issuers, or the deployment operator.

Users and integrators should independently assess token contracts, ownership and administrative permissions, pool configuration, and the identity and reputation of the deploying party before interacting with a pool.

## Off-Chain MEV Coordination

PFPHook cannot prevent MEV actors from coordinating with entities responsible for transaction inclusion or ordering. For example, an MEV actor may reach an off-chain agreement with a party that controls access to the transaction queue.

This type of coordination occurs outside the Hook's on-chain execution environment and cannot be fully solved by on-chain logic alone.
